I've been training my abs more lately and it improved significantly. There is no such thing as overtraining if we speak about little muscleparts such as arms, abs, calves. - You can hit them as many times as you want. The only bad side about it is, that your triceps will be weak the next day when you're bench pressing or doing any push exercises.

Easy set of 3 at 425 as I worked up to a heavy single at 495. I've really started to love pulling sumo for various reasons, though I only do so every three or four times I deadlift. My hips have been very tight lately, possibly due to a lack of hip strength. Sumos will help to strengthen your hips due to the wide and more open stance, making you an overall stronger person versus only deadlifting conventional. Variation in your programming will not only make you a more complete lifter, but will also keep things fresh if you're one who happens to get bored doing the same routine over and over and over again.
