My last leg is in the books. Finished about an hour or so ago and now we just have to wait for the last seven runners to finish up so we can cross the finish line. I'm really happy with how I ran. Leg 1 - 4.1 miles at an 11 minute pace, Leg 2 - 6 miles at a 12:45 pace, and Leg 3 - 5.5 at an 11:40 pace. #ragnaradk#momididit#alltherunning#shutuplegs#ragnar#notarunner
It's been a long few weeks of training - sore legs and a tired psyche ruling the day - but today was a tuneup for tomorrow's long run of 20 miles and I'm as ready as I'm going to get 😬! I'm proud of where I am and where I've come from - but mildly terrified of tomorrow's distance 😳... Full disclosure, this whole "running thing" is a lot harder than any Instagram post can confer...
If it doesn't scare the crap out of you, it's not worth doing, right? 😆 . FINALLY checking half marathon off our bucket list! 🤘🏻 . Thanks to @michelletari for the push! @pmmason15 and I are psyched to run TWO races with you that week! 🏃🏻♀️ . #thanksgivingprep#alltherunning#allthefood
