Amy Lou Adams (actress) born 20 August 1974. She has won two Golden Globe Awards, and has been nominated for five Academy Awards and six British Academy Film Awards. Now reviewing: Nocturnal Animals. Written and directed by fashion icon Tom Ford, Nocturnal Animals is a slow-burning thriller starring Academy Award winners Jake Gylenhaal and Amy Adams. A story of love, loss, and revenge. Michael Shannon was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in a supporting role. I personally thought it was the second best picture of 2016. 4 out of 4 starts. What did you think? #nocturnalanimals#tomford#film#art#amyadams#jakegyllenhaal
THE DARK KNIGHT Fun Fact: According to their father, Heath Ledger's sister would dress him up as a nurse when they were kids Directed by Christopher Nolan Starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledgee, Maggie Gyllenhaal
ARRIVAL Starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker Arrival is an alien invasion film that's not violent at all and is more drama and suspense filled. This film is directed by Denis Villeneuve who is quickly becoming my favorite director as this is his third hit in a row. This movie is directed flawlessly. Every shot is nearly perfect and it is all edited together to tell the story in a particular way because that is what the plot is. You're learning all these things about Louise Banks (Amy Adams) just not in chronological order. I re-watched this film last night and it gets better each time because you see the film more clearly knowing what these flashbacks mean and it helps to understand the film a lot better. Amy Adams is incredible in this movie. She absolutely deserved an Oscar nomination but she failed to receive one. She was excellent. She really has this movie relying on her and she pulls it out great. Her character is developed fantastic as she learns all these things relating to the "past." I won't spoil anything if you haven't seen it. The script is great and some might not like the movie if you think it was supposed to be an original blockbuster because it's not. It's based on an original story by Ted Chiang. One thing I don't really like in this movie is the cinematography. I don't think it looks very good as the film is actually hard to see at times. There are some good shots but it's not my favorite. Im clearly out numbered here but I guess i just don't see what some people do and that's okay. #Arrival is a great movie and needs to be watched if you haven't seen it. Rating? 9/10 #AmyAdams#JeremyRenner#ForestWhitaker#movies#aliens#invasion#moviereviews
