Dropping allllllll of the weight I was carrying improved my breathing (I have asthma), improved my blood pressure and all around physical activity... Being healthy doesn't mean skinny!!!! I was 200 on the left and now I'm 165.... I still have 29.13% body fat; which is now my focus!!!! Weight training; I need to build muscle... So not ready to go back to freezing cold philly next week, still in shock that this is my last semester ever! Yesterday's workout was a 1.4 mile run for a warm up followed by a booty and abs workout πŸ’¦πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ only two more days till the weekend! πŸ”Š

I have an extremely busy lifestyle and more time than not I am running out the door in the morning for work. So breakfast for me had to be FAST! And usually fast and cheap food is not healthy for you. But I beg to differ .. My delicious chocolate shake has over 70 superfoods and contains your daily dose of vitamins and minerals. So not need to buy and shallow nasty pills or buy bags upon bags of chia seed, flax seed, or extra greens. Oh AND it contains 3 servings of fruit and vegetables!  So it's pretty much a no brainer for me! It takes me 5 minutes to mix everything together and blend it up. This saves me from going through the Starbucks line and saves me time, money, and calories πŸ™ŒπŸΌ win win right there! Box squats are a great way to specifically target the quads! Lately I've been trying to strengthen my quads a bit more and really focus in on that so I threw these in on my quad-focused leg day after messing around with some front squats. Current physique πŸ‘±πŸΌβ€β™€οΈI'm 5'6, 26 years old and about 130-135 pounds depending on the day. I had an @inbodyusa scan done two weeks ago which was so cool! It weighs each part of your body (left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg and trunk "core"). It was definitely very telling because my injured arm (left) had less lean mass than my right. Also, my injured hip (I have bursitis in my right hip) showed that my right leg weighed less than my left. It also shows if you're above 100% in each category, which I was πŸŽ‰Body fat was 22.8% so that's what I'm working on lowering ⬇️and increasing ⬆️ the lean muscle mass in each of the main areas described above. I totally agree that the scale is not the best way to track progress. I had already laid the foundation down by loosing a substantial amount of pregnancy weight but I wanted to grow stronger!
