#13WeeksOut progress pictures! This week I am actually weighting in more then I did last week, currently at 122. That's 3 pounds more... does that mean I didn't make any progress? Absolutely NOT! I love being completely honest with all of you. I'm only human and I have my bad days just like the rest of us. With that being said I'm about to hit y'all with some TMI; 1. I'm on my period and due to the birth control I'm currently on I get super bloated and my cramps get so bad to the point of wanting to throw up and I literally can't move 🤷🏼♀️ & also I retain a butt load of water. 2. A goods night rest is very, VERY important and unfortunately I maybe got 2 hours of sleep last night. I had an allergy attack about every 30 minutes and it got so bad that I wanted to go the emergency room 😥 3. Sometimes you just really need to go to the bathroom and unfortunately cannot part take in the activity right then and there before getting on the scale & believe it or not it actually does make a significant difference in your weight, at least it does for me 😅 And that's, that! Now it's time to enjoy my well deserved cheat meal! 🍕🍪🍕🍪🍕🍪🍕🍪
Six Pack Saturday....flash back ! Zaaayyyuummm I was shredded.com !! My body has finally started to normalize... this may be TMI but I was so lean for so long that I didn't have my period for the last 8 months. My hormones were all over the past couple of weeks and now I know why!! I've never been happier to get a period 😂 Competing takes a toll on your body but you need to have a strong mental state or it will break you. I don't get post comp blues or worry about the weight gain. I know my body needs to do what it needs to do - and I know when to push it and when to chill the fuck out. If you're thinking about competing then make sure you're prepared for all the stuff that comes with it as a woman! It's not all abs and glam all the time ... but who doesn't love a morning ab check?! lol 😂 Real talk though enjoy life and be kind to yourself!! ❤️#realtalk
Today has been such a great day & I'm super glad I'm officially outta that funk! This morning I woke up at my usual time (thank you Marla for demanding breakfast at 7am even on the weekends). Went to some tutoring sessions all afternoon, got my grocery shopping done, ate an amazingly delicious lunch, and now I'm taking a mental break from studying to kinda relax & focus on getting things together for my next challenge group, meal prepping, and coming up with gift ideas for my coaches! 💙 I freaking LOVE this life!! — Why does my hand look so disgusting? Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
I confess😬✋🏼..The weekend BEFORE my challenges start, I eat/drink ALLDA bad things 🙈🙊. Last night was a cheeseburger and beer, tonight is pizza and wine, tomorrow is tacos and tequila #WHATTAYAGONNADO 🤷🏼♀️. Hahaha! I have FUN. This is my JOB and I get paid to do this haha! I CAN'T fall hard. I wouldn't be successful if I wasn't successful hahaha! Make sense? Just a FEW days of food heaven, and back to it. I just CAN'T do perfect. Perfect is BORING. A lot of honesty is required in a journey of recovery from EDs, body dismorphia and all that's in between. Honesty to one's self first and foremost. Honesty about what elements are promoting our recovery and which are reinforcing the prison that wants to keep us hostage. There's little anyone else can do to help us before we are honest with ourselves.
