After getting really sick and recovering with antibiotics I was unexpectedly admitted to the E.R at Yale. I only spent about 48hours there but, I had legitimately lost nearly 27lbs being locked up in there. When I returned home I tipped the scale at just 203lbs. Nothing stops me though, I only have obstacles, no roadblocks. The mad scientist @dankerce got back to the drawing board and we've gotten back to a nice spot. This morning I am 218.5lbs and only 9%BF. Prep starts at 225lbs and I expect to be there within the next 10-14 days. We haven't officially picked a show yet but, I like the looks of the Bev Francis Atlantic States Championships on June 3rd. Do you get stomach pain when you're exercising too hard? Maybe you're breathing wrong! 😆 Most people believe that one should inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. But - as you may know - as the intensity increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to continue breathing in that way. So do not worry so much about where the air comes in or out. The important thing is to maintain a constant frequency, without accelerating or decreasing the ventilation too much. 🏃🏽♀️ During your workout, exhale at the time of strength, as in the rise of the abdominal. Now, if you feel that little pain on the side of the belly, common when running [it can be caused by diaphragm fatigue], slow down or stop the activity and pull the air very slowly and then release it all three times.💖

Happy Monday, lovelies! I'm halfway through my programming, and Week 4 was humbling. From repping out numbers that I've never done, there were definitely grinders, but I pushed through it. For my heavy deadlift day, I had to do 4x4x230, which you see in this video. The fact that 235 was my old max, and I'm now repping 230, I'm extremely happy with my progress. Now we're onto volume, volume, volume. I'm about 6.5 weeks out from my first powerlifting meet!
💎GLYCOGEN💎 Glycogen are carbs in the muscle. They are a storage form of glucose. When you work out your body uses up a lot of its glycogen. So your post workout meal needs carbs to replenish it. If you don't replenish it, your body will breakdown proteins for energy due to the lack of carbs.
