Over the years, @staceysmyth and I have kept our circle tight. We still do to a certain extent, now with @kingaustinray by our side, but one thing we realized is that there is another source of fuel and motivation that now drives us, besides just this inner passion we have for training. That fuel is community. Connecting with people who are fueled by that same inner passion. Feeding off of one another, encouraging each other and forming friendships wherever we can. The idea and extensively used reference to a "fitness family" is a very real thing. No matter how different your lives or personalities, there is one thing that connects all of us. Perfect dinner for this cool weather, Hearty Beef Vegetable Soup, dairy, gluten free and whole 30 approved. This was such an easy recipe! Used the Healthy 8 veggie mix from Trader Joe's along with canned tomatoes and ground beef! Everyone loved it! Made enough for the whole week!

A simple fundamental isolation movement. Almost everyone learns about Rope Pushdowns early on in their training, but how many people truly perform is correctly? When it comes to something as basic as this, whatever is making it burn for you, is the right way to do it. Knit-picky, know-it-all, freshly certified personal trainers may try to tell you otherwise. Every time @staceysmyth has put up a pushdown movement video over the last 4 years, someone comes in and tries to critique her form, when I've already got that covered. 🤓👌 In reality, this isn't a dangerous movement when using a proper amount of weight and as long as it's burning, and you're seeing results without elbow or shoulder pain, that's the right way to do it.
