No, this is definitely not your typical instagram leg day photo. And no this is not a very attractive picture at all actually 😂😂 but I wanted to post this for a reason. It has been brought to my attention that the word "athlete" has lost its true meaning. When you think of an athlete today, I'm willing to bet you think of someone on social media who has a "bubble butt" or "rock hard abs" or "massive biceps". And don't get me wrong, if you are proud of what you have accomplished YOU SHOULD post pictures of yourself and show the world. But it seems like today we have forgotten an athlete is. An athlete is someone who dedicates their time everyday to making themselves better, getting closer to their goals and striving to be the best version of themselves they can be while also staying humble. An athlete is someone who has had a 12 hour day at work and gets their ass to the gym even if they are exhausted. An athlete is someone who pushes themselves EVERYDAY no matter what. It's NOT ABOUT how many followers you have on instagram or how many likes you get on a photo. None of that matters if you don't put the work in. So this is my #humpday photo. This is the "behind the scenes" work that people put in to get that "bubble butt" or "six pack abs". It's not always a pretty picture, but the hard work we do before we take that "booty picture" represents what an athlete really is.
Transformation Tuesday, Julien's been puttin' in hard work and hitting the gym real heavy. He shedded his old self and leaves It On The Ground as a reminder of who he used to be and how much stronger he is today. #imjustthemessenger#corgi#corgishred#puttinginwork
