I usually really like complexes, but 12 reps unbroken is a lot! High hang squat clean, low hang squat clean and squat clean, followed by a push press the first set, a push jerk the second and a split jerk the third.

Got a carb increase this week 🎉🙌🏻 and this is the first time I've ever been cutting and haven't felt the #dietfeels 🙏🏻 every cut will be different and what worked before won't necessarily work again. Sometimes progress comes painfully slow. In this case it's my #povertybench 😖 Left is the very first time I hit a 1 plate bench back in March. I couldn't hit it for months again until October. I consider it progress that not only can I now bench 135 any training day but yesterday I managed to do 4 sets of PAUSED doubles. Ready to open with this weight at the meet this coming March 💪 Huge thanks to the #bestfriends @fteal @ms_christinamarie for forcing me to up the weight when I want to do light weight for reps 😂 and for the rest of the #xxxlfinest group @bajan_barbarian @stevehateseveryone @beffnteal @_adha @kblk518 #bigjoe for critiquing my form and bringing positive vibes (or extreme hatred and contempt) every workout. I DID IT! I'm so proud of myself 😎💪🏼 I am aware that this doesn't mean much for a lot of people but 6months ago I could't even raise myself the tiniest bit! I can squat 70kg without a problem but pull-ups... that's a different kind of hard for me 😅 So yay to be able to do one pull-up all by myself' 😇 ps: please try to ignore all the faces I make. Just a quick morning ab check to start the day✔️✔️ Been eating super clean, increased my calories the last couple weeks and my body is responding great although I am still struggling to get my total intake in. This morning, I am feeling fatigued and tired though, so I am opting for a shorter leg workout between clients this afternoon so I could sleep in a little bit more. Have you tried the kang squat (also known as the good morning squat)!?? It is not a plyometric to fit my plyo theme this week, but it is a GREAT exercise to incorporate into your weekly workout routine. This is a great exercise that really targets your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back. . . You want to focus on pushing your hips back, keeping your knees slightly bent, and back flat. Squeeze your glutes throughout the movement to keep them engaged. . . . You can start body weight, with a barbell on your back, or with a kettlebell to your chest (shown in my video). Start with 2-3 sets of 10-12 reps! Make it burn!!
