While in Vegas this past weekend for the Olympia I was able to spend with my dad Savino. I don't get to see him often enough. Up until 7 years ago I had never met him nor knew his name. His sister found me on FB of all places. Since then it's been awesome getting to know him. I found out my ancestors on his side are from Spain. I must have gotten my mom's height genes lol.
Maybe breakthrough isn't a big BAM PANG POW moment, maybe it's the realization or discovery that something's changed. I'm redefining what breakthrough means for me & maybe even getting a breakthrough a long the way. I gotta hand it to my babies 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. . When I'm working out they (for the most part) let me do my thing 🤸♂️ ! . At this point they just know that mommy is having a moment to herself, and it's unreal how they play so nicely when I'm getting my sweat in 💦. . I love that they can watch their mama work hard and be in the best health she can be. It gives me motivation and drive to push harder when they are watching 👀

I present to you 3 women. The one on the left: insecure, comparing herself to others and wondering why she was never good enough. The one in the middle: lost, still insecure and searching for happiness in the wrong places. Lastly the girl on the right: did what the two before her couldn't, she found happiness she found herself but she wouldn't have found it without the guidance from the mistakes of the two before her. I know I've said it 1029383928373828 times already but I finally found my happy place, fitness is more to me than how I look in the mirror it's about doing what those two other girls dreamed of doing. the soreness, the pain and the sweat are not just for me it's for them, cause without them I wouldn't have learned that I am enough and I am amazing. 🤓

BENEFITS OF TRAINING BACK • Just because you can't see your backside in the mirror, doesn't mean you can neglect it. Neglecting training your Back can lead to many structural problems. Your core work should include lower back exercises - The muscle groups in the lower back include stabilizers and spinal support muscles. As you can imagine, if you only focus on crunching your rectus adominis in order to achieve that desired 6 pack, without working your back - well you'll probably start developing some lower back pain😤 So on this note, don't neglect training BACK!
