They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes it's what a pictures can't say/ can't explain or can't tell you.  Pictures can be a great way to document your progress but it's not your only form of monitoring or showing your results or success. Some pictures of poses can be flexed or un-flexed, and that can appear to make a world! or what some might think is months of difference! Some foods or circumstances (esp for us ladies πŸ˜‰) can cause bloating... don't let this hinder you or get you down. Stay focused, stay aware, monitor your intake: what foods may cause this for you, and if photos are an important monitoring & motivating tool: take notice to what times of the best are best to document your shape and progress!  Don't let it get you down! It's natural, work with it, work around it, So what.. who cares if I'm a little bloated in a picture or two I  fuelled my body today with nothing but power and nourishment it's thriving from, drank my water, I lifted heavy- I had a good day! So what! I'm not in discomfort and I'm not letting a little bloat belly get me off track. I love & accept myself all along the way.  We can't be flexing 24/7 like these freeze frames we see. Fleeting moments- we capture and move on, we don't live in, live on! It's about the life not just the pictures. #bodypositive #progressnotperfection

I've had my share of misery and misfortune, and certainly battled my way to where I stand proud now. I'm not done, and it doesn't get easier, but I value myself and my results more for the reason that it didn't come easy.  I've learned a little bit more about myself and what I'm made of, and I count my blessings and goals concurred everyday.  Some believe they'll love themselves/ or love themselves more when they look how they want or reach a certain weight: you can't wait to live your life. Love yourself now, and live the life you want now. Don't settle for what you've been given or what people think you deserve, don't stop until you're proud. Your form/ delivery of communication... where can you improve; not necessarily change or get rid of, but improve.  Then write down 10 things you love about yourself Physically. Mentally. Emotionally... ect and why. What makes you special: and how can you begin to enhance your life by sharing these traits or qualities with others! These may even be things others don't know about you.  Next write down 3 goals that reduce stress from your life moving forward and add happiness. It doesn't all need to be about "not being good enough" or just about weight, but being aware: 1. What has been holding you back? Ex. Self-doubt, take out foods, finances, a lack of support/ surrounding yourself with the right like-minded / encouraging people. What has set you up for "failure" in the past, that will be concurred and prevented early on this time.  2. Be realistic and persistent with yourself PLAN, don't just hope- Where you want to improve, what within your power will lift a weight off your shoulders and bring your happiness back, a little bit more each day. What steps do you need to take to get you there- one day, one month at a time; Plan don't just hope. Break it down and track your progress; have something to stick to day by day and work toward, written down to keep you accountable  Lastly: When all else fails / or you are in fear that you're on the verge of failing, Let's plan for that. I want you, tonight to choose one "Mantra" that you know is going to keep you in check, keep you focused and keep you motivated.  When you find the phrase that works for you... ex. "To be better than yesterday" "Because I'm worth it" "People will see me as the power house I am" "I am not a victim to my own life" I am in control and nothing will stop me... Repeat your magic mantra to your self each morning before getting out of bed. Convince yourself and set the pace for your day. When you go to bed, repeat your magic mantra to yourself before you go to sleep. Convince yourself, embrace and embody your power and future you're creating & working toward. #throwbackthursday #weightlossjourney
