Today's arm session done, that's the first bit of therapy done, second part is going to consist of listening to the wise words of Elliott Hulse on self development and having this raspberry protein shake, happy with how I've done today's session after a lot of built up anger this past week, the following therapy has been done: - JM PRESS - SKULL CRUSHERS -  FLAT DUMBBELL BENCH PRESS - EZ BAR PREACHER CURL - NEUTRAL GRIP LAT PULLDOWN  Feeling good and back feels pumped from yesterday's session with @andy_jackson_ always like to learn new stuff and techniques! 😊πŸ’ͺ would definitely recommend listening to Elliott Hulse's many rants about life and its many answers... pre-warning, be open minded, too me a while to grasp my head around it 😢but helped me loads! #destress #armday #proteinshake #raspberry #elliotthulse #selfdevelopment #myprotein #rest #failandlearn #gym #gymlad #personaltrainer #career #nevergivein #nevergiveup #neverstop #becomethestrongestversionofyourself #bethestrongestversionofyourself

Tracking Progress through Training!  A way in which you can track progress and one that I find very simple and use both on myself, my clients and hell was even doing it when I first got my 1-5kg dumbbell weight set at the age of 15…. Ah those were the days.  You ready?  WRITING WHAT YOU DO DOWN!  I cannot stress how important it is to keep what you are doing either in a little journal or on some app you can use on your phone in order to see what you've done that session.  Now how is this tracking and how can I see progress Lee?  I’ll tell you how, firstly the reason you train… you want to see change on some aspect of you, whether that be physical, performance or psychological, how you feel mentally.  Example: You want to lose some weight, build up muscle or look good for these very few sunny days we have in Carlisle, getting those pasty white legs out and show off the guns.  You begin to start by doing exercise because it is highly proven to improve the way you look, you make or find some routine, you see a change and your happy but want more!  Whatever way your routine is designed, it needs to be progressed, to keep getting more results. But if you have no record of what you have done how can you make a change to the routine and progress to continue to see results? You can’t unless you have an extremely good memory.  I’m not saying every guy and girl should walk around with a journal in their hands when training to take notes for what to do next time, but… keep some notes somewhere, that way you can progress the routine and continue to keep getting results.
