I don't have any of me from a 5k yet, but I'm doing the Color Run on August 11 and I'll definitely have one to send then! Left is 341, right is 211. Allison Nugent  My success story thanks to C25K!  Last year I hit my "bottom" and was sick of being overweight and unhappy with myself. As the mother of 2 young children, I knew I needed to get in shape so I could enjoy more activities with them. Several of my friends were doing Zen Labs C25K and were posting their accomplishments on Facebook. As I saw them reaching their goals, I decided to try it too. I had never been a runner and thought I never would be but tried anyway. I started the program in August. On October 13, I ran my first 5k at a time of 34:13. On Thanksgiving, I ran my first 10k at 1:08:36. And, just this past Sunday, I completed my first half marathon, the inaugural Nike Women's Half Marathon DC, in 2:37:26. I will be running my first full marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon, this October. Thank you for this incredible program! I would not be where I am today without it! I used to envy the runners that pass by when I walk at the park. I am amazed by how consistent they are through the whole week. I am impressed how strong their lungs are and how fit their bodies are. And now, I am slowly reaching my goals. Lovely story of progress from Jean Michaels. "Hello, I saw a shared post of other people's success stories using your C25K app. I wanted to share mine as well. I did a walk with a friend on Thanksgiving day... it was a 2 mile walk. I had so much fun and before the walkers got started I watched all the runners leave the starting area. It was amazing to see them all running. As I walked the route I wondered if I could ever run a 5k..it felt easy walking the 2 miles. A few weeks after I did that walk I down loaded the c25k app. I could barely jog the 60 secs in the beginning. But I kept with it!! Rain or snow did not stop me... I've run in both! I completed my first 5k April 6 and ran the whole thing in 37:57! I didn't have money to join a gym for fancy training... just me, my iphone and your app... running outdoors. I was stuck at the same weight for 6 months.... Since I've started to run I've actually started to drop weight and inches! I'm now using your 10k app and will be downloading the abs app! THANK YOU so much!!! If I can do this anyone can... So download it and get started!"

After completing my first 5K I was hooked and completed 10 more. I also went on to run a 10K and a sprint triathlon. The C25K program opened up so many fitness opportunities for me and I hope to get my group fibre as certification this year! While my journey is still ongoing, running has been something I enjoyed and truly helped me shed inches of body fat! Would love for you to share my story to give help to others!
